My period usually lasts 5 to 7 days, and I use regular tampons for the first 3, and usually light tampons for the last few days. I recently had sex with my boyfriend, and I'm thinking I might be pregnant. I did have my period, but it only lasted 3 days. The 4th day, I didn't have any bleeding until mid-day, and then it stopped after about an hour. My period wasn't much lighter than usual. I did have some brown-ish discharge/blood on the 4th and 5th days. Could all of this mean that I'm pregnant?

if you had unprotected sex then ya probably, if you are concerned about it take a pregnancy test or go to your doctors.
My aunt had her period for all 9 months she was pregnant with my cousin (her last baby) so it can happen, but it's a rarity.

What you need to do is to go to your gyn and let her explain to you about your period and chances that may occur sometimes and what they mean. Every time I read about someone mentioning that they had some change with their period, the first thing they ask is if they are pregnant. Now, how do you expect anyone on YA can tell you that you are pregnant? You can take a pregnancy test at home and if you are not satisfied, go to your doctor. It does not mean that because your period did not come like it normally would that you are pregnant. There will be many times in your years of growing up when your period will be kind of strange in its appearance and that can be for many different reasons other than pregnancy. If you know you were sexually involved, whether you used protection or not (because condoms can break and some people still get pregnant even when they are on birth control pills because they might have missed a dosage or something), then just go to the doctor to be sure and put your mind at ease. Good luck.

Just because your period is acting strangely doesn't mean you're pregnant. Periods are crazy.

The fact that you're having a period at all strongly suggests exactly the opposite.

The only way you're going to bleed during pregnancy is if it's ectopic, and then it's be obvious -- you'd be in extreme pain.

yea, and no. Get a pregnancy test to find out for sure and I would recommend 1st respond it detects pregnancy 5 days b4 your missed period so if you are pregnant now it could detect it! : )

that is gross, and no. i do not think you are pregnant, use a pregnancy test, and if that is positive, go to the doctor and double check it.
