no but hurrcane katrina you are. hahaha. i just wanted to see if anyone was stupid enough to actually get this easy simple a@@ math question wrong. thank you for showing me it is possible.

whats funny is that YA users see that its been answerd 10 or more times.. and they still click ANSWER and give the answer.. as if the guy isnt gunna know the right answer after 10 people just before you.. answerd his simple question..

You always want to follow "the order of operations". Basically its what you do first in a math problem so you dont mess it up.
The easiet way to remember the order is to remember the word
PEMDAS = Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiply/Divide (can be done at same time in either order), Add/subtract (can also be done in any order that makes it easier for you).
So if you apply PEMDAS to the problem you would first do anything in P=parenthesis
(22-7)=15
then E=exponents, but there are none in this problem so don't worry about it. An exponent is a little number that hovers overthe top right shoulder of another number. If you dont know what it is its fine, you will probabley learn it soon in your class.
So next would be M and D
8x4= 32
so now that you got all the crazy symbols adn parenthesis out of the way you can rewrite the problem as ...
32 + 15 =
now you just solve like any old easy problem...
32 + 15 = 47
The answer is 47.
The best way to remember PEMDAS is to make up a phrase for PEMDAS.
like Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally, I hate that phrase, so I made up my own, but it is really inapprioriate lol.

take care of the parenthesis first 22-7 =15
then do the multiplication and division next 8x4=32
32+15=47
