My best-girlfriend (28, never married, no kids) has been dating this guy (32, never married , no kids) for almost year. Over the past few months she has had a growing suspicion that he may be gay or bi-sexual. I have never met the guy before but I was under the impression from what my friend has said in the past that they had a healthy sexual relationship.
She has already asked him if he would ever be with a man and he replied that he was duped by a transsexual with female organs in his early 20s. Even though none of his friends could tell "she" wasn't a female, my best-girlfriend is perplexed that the relationship with her boyfriend and the transsexual went on for a few weeks.
What are some signs during a relationship that may indicated that a "straight" man is actually gay?

Touch is a critical sense in human sexuality and so is smell. Because Men and Woman do not share the same pheromones, it can be easily said that a straight man would react differently to the sent of a woman than a sent of a man.. So the question I ask, is how affectionate is he.. does he love to smell her??.. squeeze her?? Or is sex life minimalist..? Does he get excited when they touch?
The fact that he was with a transsexual knowingly or unknowingly many years ago does not signify that this individual is gay... rather, the fact that years later he is with a woman having a good relationship shows that although he "experimented" he knows what he wants.. and is honest... as he told her something that many would keep to themselves.... In my opinion, judging on the information provided.. this man.. if he knew himself.. he would tell her.. and the fact that he has already crossed the line somewhat and stayed on the hetero side shows that woman is what he wants...
There are many girls that like an open minded man.. its a shame your friend finds it hard to trust someone that is open-minded.

Look for evidence of gay porn on the computer.
If he admited to being with a *she* and it being a man he has already given you the answer.
He's probably BI, if he was GAY he most likely wouldn't be with your friend. Also if he likes to heng out with HER male friends that could also be an indication.
Oh and this is probably none of your business :D Unless of course you want to get in on some of that action. LOL

This has got to be one of the silliest questions of the day. A good job of conversion (transexual operations) is just about undectable...why is this woman going off over this...all but ridiculous. She had better be very careful, this guy is going to bolt and head for the hills. He is obviously straight..what the hell is the problem?

Weave an unnecessarily complicated plot to discover the truth about him when it would be so much easier for her to just discuss it honestly with the man.

I don't know about gay, but he certainly doesn't sound very bright. Perhaps she should be more concerned about that.
Frankly, there is no way to know for sure whether he is gay or not if he's not going to be honest.
