I mean, I understand they do not want to baptize twice, and I would like to provide them w/ the appropriate papers ,but I simply can't find them. Will they accept this or keep probing?

Canon Law allows for the sworn testimony of an adult to count.

Can. 876 To prove that baptism has been conferred, if there is no conflict of interest, it is sufficient to have either one unexceptionable witness or, if the baptism was conferred upon an adult, the sworn testimony of the baptized person.

Your records are important and they can be found. If you have been confirmed and know where your confirmation records are, but not the baptismal records, that will also be helpful (b/c you have to be baptized to get confirmed).

This is dealt with all the time and the parish will go as far as they can because it is important to keep all the records straight, especially in this day and age.

Dear emily,

The catholic church will undoubtedly never tell you this but the church age is over. That is God is no longer using ANY local congregations to bring forth the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When Jesus was here on earth at His death, there were not more than 530 believers in the upper room. Then at Pentecost, Peter preaches one (1) sermon and 3000 people are saved. What happened? Jesus is the best preacher because He is God. Why did Peter preach one sermon and 3000 people get saved? The reason was the Holy Spirit was now there as Jesus promised to send after His return to heaven. But now the Holy Ghost is gone from the churches! Can anyone be saved? Absolutely NOT! The Holy Spirit applies the word of God to a person's heart for that person to be saved. We are ALL spritually DEAD and if the Holy Ghost is not present in the churches, NO ONE can be saved! Satan is not ruling in ALL the local congregations as we read in 2 Thess 2. Why has this happened? For the same reason that judgment fell upon Judah in 587 B.C. The people have forsaken the ordinances of God and set up their own rules--The Lord is not going to bless this!! The catholics teach one to pray to Mary and the saints, which is sin. The catholic church has set up images of Christ--disobeying the ten commandments. Zacharias (a priest) was married to Elizabeth and they had a son named John the Baptist. You see priests are to be married and have children, not euncuhs like the catholic church promotes. Why do you think all these priests are being found as sodomites and child molesters?
You need to get out of the cahtolic church and any church for that matter! Read Revelation 18:4-20.

If you know for sure you have been baptized, then you can just tell them, you really have no reason to lie about it. They will write a letter to the church where you were baptized and ask for a copy.

They will do everything that they can do to help you. Trust me, they spent months researching on my behalf.

You have to contact the church in which you were baptized. Trust me, they keep this stuff on record. They will be able to provide you with the necessary paper.
God Bless!

THOR says, fake the papers and do a few extra hail mary's later on...that should get you round this moral dilemma shouldn't it.

Catholicism is great at forgiveness.

On the other hand, THOR does not forgive, THOR would hit you with his MIGHTY HAMMER
