cause people don't appreciate the things they have...they take advantage of everything but when it's gone they'll realize that they messed up

I am afraid you do mean us on Y answers. This silly belief that OTHER people are messing up OUR planet is just silly. If you drive a car or use an air conditioner or even a computer, you are contribution to what you call "fu cking it up". The only difference between you and I and all the other Y answer people and a big oil company, is that we are the customers that the big oil company serves. If we don't buy oil, then the oil company won't sell it, drill it, or make any money from it. Simple as that!
