I'm in college, living away from home now, waiting for the insurance to come through at my job (its a new job--takes 3 months to process everything)...i've been kind of tired from work, etc...but i'm 118 lbs and healthy and i exercise and all that..but lately i've just been blacking out--falling forward. the other night our doorbell rang after supper, and i walked into the other room and i felt very sick to my stomach and my heart started pounding really hard..to the point where i could hear it and i woke up on the bed w/ my friend not remembering anything after that point...what could be causing this?? thanks!

ur having anxiety attacks. same thing happend to me years ago, when things would bother me or when i was really stressed out. i would breaht kinda funny and my heart would beat REALLY HARD AND FAST. and i felt like i was gunna die and i would black out a few times and it happend everytime i was stressed, and my tharapist found out it was deep emotional things that happend to me when i was a kid that built up so much that i was fighting it and it eventually started to weaken me and i now just try not to hold grudges or think about the past or let alot of things stress me out and since then ive been fine. so think about whats bothering u and stressing u out and see if u can get it in controle, and take a muscle relaxer when ur at ur worst panic attack(it helps u calm down and sleep).

You could be having episodes of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) which is where you heart goes extremely fast and that can make your blood pressure drop. If you blood pressure drops, that could cause you to pass out. You need to see a doctor to find out what is going on with you. If it is SVT, there are medications you can take to try to control this. But, a doctor can tell you what exactly is causing you to pass out, just sounds a lot like what happens when someone has SVT.

I was born in the South Always Lived here and Love it. If your husband thinks that, then hes not a true Southerner, meaning he may Live in the South, but it ain't in his blood. Theres a Difference..
