What I mean is, it seems that people's religion is based on their parents opinions, not what they really feel inside.

Yes... Being a very open-minded person, I have looked into others religions. But I have still found Christianity to be the one I am sticking to. :)

There are atleast eleven major religions in the world. Every one of them has a different name for God.

There is only one God.

You don't have to practice the religion that you were born into.

Follow your own heart and soul. If you feel comfortable in worship with another religion by all means go for it.

God is all around us. All we need is to look at nature an all the wonders of this earth. For sure we know that there has to be a higher power out there in this universe.

For me it really doesn;t matter - above all religion we are all humans - so religion came next so I don;t mind doing practices . I m a hindu - that;s in India but have done the muslim ramazan - when they go striaght no food no water for one mothn expect in the evening after sun set and morning before dawn I did without the morning intake of the food became so much thinner but I didn;t do it to become thinner to believe in other religion . though it sounds hard to do it but .. you can go for any religion.

I would still believe what I believe. I'm comfortable with my beliefs and I have friends who believe differently and we've all shared them with each other but I've never felt the need to stray from what I grew up in.

My parents have always let me make my own decisions regarding this and I'm where I chose to be.

at first yet-because we are all drawn by family religious values. Later on -depends-after we learn more about what we really want
