I really do, and no matter how bad 'family' situation is these days, i believe in family values, and think family should be most important in our lives, even if we didn't get best of our mum or dad, we should make very effort to create our own family in nicesest way possible.Only in a warm and loving family we can find true peace withinh ourselves.

I believe in family values. I grew up with people who had no clue how to have a family and I would say that was one of the worst thing someone has to go through. I want to learn family values and have a close knit loving family one day.

What are good family values? I suppose it depends on the type of family you are brought up in. I believe in the sanctity of marriage, the importance of good manners and of children knowing right from wrong and being able to make the right decisions in difficult circumstances. having said that my husband has recently left me for a much younger woman and my children are confused because he wants to cut all ties with them. How will this affect thier idea of good family values?

Bit of a vague question. It's like asking who believes in Christmas. What are good family values?

Yes , however there is not a lot of evidence that they are being instilled these days . Examples ... young people almost knocking older people down to get by them { no respect for elders } Another is kids have no idea how to EARN what you want . Foul language in public places { no respect for themselves or anyone else } I could go on but that's enough , you get my drift right ?

yes. its all we have at the end of the day. honesty integrity and compassion for others less fortunate than yourself...

its how weve bought our girls up, and we arent strict, and we dont wag the bat of authority at them either. but for the last 16 years, its how weve conducted ourselves.

yes i know, old fashioned and boring..maybe, but my girls are at the top of their classes, in the top 5% of their school... youngest, started secondary school today, she's 11, and as they finished last year, (her last) she was top of the school, in english maths and science...

eldest daughter is preparing to go to warwick uni, which is great..and surprising, cuz statistically our kids are supposed to be grunts at the bottoom of the pile. why? i hear you asking... well, were not married, both of us are from problem homes, the Mrs was bought up by the state, in a childrens home, i did 3 years for armed robbery, and had no qualifications when i left school... we live in a council house and im in a wheelchair and claiming benefits...

daunting picture isnt it... Mrs has a degree in comparative religion, ive got A levels and we both have a degree in sociology...

so yes, we believe in family values, when youve got bugger all else, its a straw... and later in life, it set us, and our kids apart.

absolutely, but they seem to have been blown away by the overt promoting of homo illicit sexual relations and by not having prayer & dicipline in the schools. The break down of the family unit- mother, father and children- is sometimes hard to find. You are more likely to find single parents or two queers living together. It is time to get back to prayer and the bible.
