When drinking a bottle of beer,etc, do you hold it w/ your fingertips or w/ your whole hand around the neck?

I hold it in the middle with my fingertips, but the people I've noticed on TV, in movies, and in real life drink bottled drinks gripping the neck. Am I in the minority here?

i also hold the fat part of the bottle in my hand with mostly fingers

men being "macho" hold the neck in the movies...lol

Depends. If I'm sitting down, I hold it with fingertips around the base of the bottle. If I'm walking around, I hold it around the neck.

I hold it with my fingertips as well. I would think if you held the bottle with your whole hand the beer would get warmer faster...

Usually I hold a bottle with my hand around the base of the bottle.But if I'm in a more "southern" setting,I hold it in between my index and middle finger kinda' like a modified cigarette hold.

I hold it the way you do, too- it's ladylike ...I was going to joke and say if it's a PBR or a Schlitz you grab it around the neck, and for the fancy schmancy imported stuff, you daintily hold it around the middle.

I usually hold mine around the body, just cause if I get too drunk I still have a good grip.

i hold it with my whole hand around the neck. mabye it's because i see everybody else doing it, but it's a habit i don't even think about while i'm doing it
