Make sure the power cable and data cable (IDE) are hooked up correctly. You could also try popping the drive out with a paper clip...just stick it in the tiny hole to pop the tray out.

Hi. There is a little hole in the front. This is for emergency door opening. A bent paperclip will fit and should open the door.

go to the my computer icon...double click it...highlight the drive you want to use...right click...choose eject and it should open..good luck
