It can't be too fantastic because you are in this section.

If you're implying that atheists can be care-free b/c there is no God to guide us, think about this. If you run into poison ivy, you're still going to get a rash.
As an atheist, you kill someone, you still have repercussions. You're just required to think before you act instead of being told what to do by men who lived thousands of years ago.
If, you really are commenting that being an atheist is fantastic, why yes, it is nice to be able to figure out for yourself whether something is right for you.

If by fantastic you mean not knowing the love and comfort of a true loving God,or the unconditional love,or the forgiveness or eternal life then yeah I guess it would be fantastic. For me I know what fantastic really is. Salvation! Eternal Life! A Loving Forgiving God that reveals Himself to me many times a day. I'm sorry that you are blinded,I pray that God reveals Himself to you. You need to see Him then you will know the true definition of fantastic

If you say so.
Answer to Tom: Oh, but He will be telling you what to do. Enjoy the ride now. Jesus said that every knee will bow and every tonque will confess that Jesus is Lord. And those who don't, well, I hope you like heat and being totally alone in a dark place where Jesus said no one can cross over to and no one can get out - and that is forever.
And to think, it could have all been different. Satan didn't like God telling him what to do either and there is a pit reserved for him too.

Mmmm.... I guess so. It's not something I spend any time thinking about! It's just who I am.

I'm much more excited about being a motorcyclist!

Except when people threaten us with something that we don't believe in... but yes, it is fantastic when you can find intelligent people who don't gasp and go "Why!?" when they learn you're atheist. I'm not converting any time soon.

There's a lot more to gain believing in God and VERY little to gain in not believing. Seems like the downside isn't really worth it if you ask me. What do you really gain by not believing? No greater being to trust in or believe in...less of a sense of purpose or meaning to life? The possibility of damnation- even if you don't really believe in it? The upside of believing is too great- eternal bliss. Seems like a no brainer- but everyone has the right to make their own decision I guess. More power to them..to think they are here in some random, purposeless, or self-decided mission I guess. Whatever works for you I'd say!
