Irresistable Peanut Butter Cookies

3/4 c peanut butter
1/2 c Shortening
1 1/4 c Packed brown sugar
3 tb Milk
1 tb Vanilla
1 Egg
1 3/4 c Flour
3/4 ts Salt
3/4 ts Baking soda


Heat oven to 375 deg f. Combine peanut butter, shortening, sugar, milk and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Beat until creamy. Add egg, beat until just blended. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl. Add to creamed mixture. Mix just until blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes or until firm. Cool two minutes on baking sheet, then remove to wire rack and cool completely.
Note:be different, add 6 oz. chocolate chips or M & M's Cool completely.

Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe:

Ingredients:

* 1/2 cup granulated sugar
* 1/2 cup brown sugar
* 1/2 cup peanut butter
* 1/4 cup shortening
* 1/4 cup margarine softened
* 1 egg
* 1 1/4 cup flour
* 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:
Mix sugars, peanut butter, shortening, margarine, and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.

Heat oven to 375. Shape dough into 1 1/4 inch balls. Place about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten in crisscross pattern with a fork dipped in flour. Bake until light brown, 9 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle with granulated sugar mixed with food coloring. Cool 2 minutes then remove from cookie sheet.

butter cookies

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
PREPARATION:
Mix together the flour and salt in a bowl and set aside. Cream together the butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour and salt mixture a small amount at a time, kneading into creamed mixture with your hands.
Turn dough onto floured surface and pat or roll out to 1/4" thickness
Cut into squares [or any shape you want] and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and store in airtight containers. Makes about 3 dozen.

World's Best Peanut Butter Cookies

INGREDIENTS:


1 c. smooth peanut butter


1 c. sugar


1 egg


1 tsp. vanilla


1 bag milk chocolate chips


1/2 c. chopped roasted peanuts


METHOD:


Mix peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.


Roll into balls in palm of hand and press down on cookie sheet.


Bake at 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes.


Cool on racks.


Melt chocolate according to package instructions.


Dip half of each cookie into melted chocolate.


Sprinkle chopped peanuts on melted chocolate.

its not the best by ant means, but the best in a pinch. I honestly jsut made them to feel like I was accomplishing something.

1 egg
1 cup of pnt butter
1 cup of sugar
I only use 3/4 cup and do have and have of white and brwn.
Bake at 350. Mix together the 3 ingredients roll into balls place un cookie shet (ungreased) and cris cross with fork. Bake until jsut golden, keep on sheet til firm then cool on side board. Takes a few practices to get them down pat, but when u do u can whip thme up anytime, anywhere.

the easiest one i know is
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg

mix together and drop teaspoon size balls onto paper lined cookie sheet and bake in 350F oven till light brown, about 8 minutes depending on your oven.
