going for a biopcy on some micro nodules found on the outside of my lung

I would say the biopsy will tell you whether it's cancer or not. No one here can tell you that.

well, micronodules can be of every nature. a variety of diagnoses from unknow causes to well known pathologies. unfortunately you have not provided detailed info on your condition and there is no obvious clue to the diagnosis by this presentation but i hope you come up with a benign pathology after doing biopsy. some techniques like helical ct scanning are very accurate in diagnosis and also serve as a guide for biopsy. if you provide more info i can elaborate on this a bit more.
