my normal sugar is between 80-120

If blood glucose level is greater than 180 mg/dL for longer than a week, or if you have two consecutive readings greater than 300 mg/dL, call your doctor.

I believe these are fasting test levels. Maybe the 300 is an 'any time' number. Call your doctor's office to ask about what your numbers should be. Below 130mg/dL fasting (before meals) is considered to be good if you are diabetic. There might be other numbers if you are not diabetic. My info supposes that you are diabetic.

I presume you have a tester/monitor. Please call the company (it should list their contact info somewhere on the testing unit) and have them send you a test kit so you may be sure it is working properly. If the company doesn't exist any more, or you can't find testing supplies that fit the testing unit you have, get a new blood sugar monitor.

100 is a good baseline. Anything above that on a continual basis should be concern and you should modify your diet and exercise regime if you are over it on a constant basis.
