I,ve been at my job for 17 years and am very happy there, recently we had a new female manager start. Well for the past few weeks she has been coming on to me i told her i wasnt interested but she wont take no for an answer, we have no union and she is very powerful in the company, she is up with the directors and i'm in the mailroom (david & goliath) she told me if i refuse to spend the night in a hotel with her she will make sure i am no longer an employee of the company. There's nothing wrong with me when it comes to women i love em and i just wish it was one of the younger girls in the office, but this woman is hideous does anyone remember LOU BEALLE from eastenders back in the 80s......YES?? well this woman could be her bloody double! i doubt i could even get an election...... any way out????

That is sexual harassment. What right has this woman got to make you feel threatened and intimidated.I suggest that you log and time all events and bring it to the attention of her boss. They should beleive you as you have a very long history and obviously good record within your work place. There are laws for people like her.She is abusing her power. I also recommend that you join a union you can join on your own. Contact one a.s.p.Dont let her bully you.

Its even as 2 gamers sack the QB together or if a participant might want to hit the QB the QB staggers yet does no longer bypass down and yet another participant cleans him up. it would want to be the decision of the stat keeper like a mistakes or hit in baseball.

Obviously what she is demanding is wrong.

You need to report her to her boss - although I can see why you would think you would be disbelieved. Although, having worked there for 17 years and assuming you have been an honest and reliable employee, why shouldn't they believe you?

Any chance of gathering some evidence - even a tape recording - which whilst might not be admissible in court, should be enough to prove to her boss that you are telling the truth.

Get a small recording device and record one of her sultry come ons. When she threatens to have your job just play back part of the conversation for her. She will immediately back-off. You don't have to do anymore with the recording unless she actually does fire you. Then, that same day, take it to her boss's boss (not her boss because they may be friends unless that's the only option) and explain why you recorded her [out of fear of losing your job] and play the recording for them.
OR-- you could file a sexual harassment complaint to your human resources dept. or her boss's boss. But in either case I'd have a recording as proof.
Have a great day and good luck. I would hate to lose a job I like due to something like this and you shouldn't either. Be strong and defend yourself. You just may have more clout due to your years of service.

You need to file sexual harassment charges against her either with the company representative (all large companies are required to have an EEO officer) or with a government agency. Her conduct is way out of line. She thinks she can pick on a lowly clerk because he won't have enough clout to fight back. Don't give in.

The same rules and laws apply to women as to men. If you can gather evidence (letter, e-mail, witness, recording even) then you have grounds for legal action or internal disciplinary or dispute. In reality, she may move onto someone equally ugly or with poorer eyesight.
