Where do you place the accent mark when spelling the name Daniel Lopez?

The accent in Spanish usually goes on the vowel in the second to last syllable. If a word has an accent above a letter it usually means a change to that rule. You have to put more emphasis on that vowel with the mark above it. In the last name Lopez I don't believe you have to put an accent above any letter because its already implied.
