Stop looking away first off! Eye contact and body language is 80% of your communication with him, if you're sending the message that you're not interested then he's going to stop looking your direction. Look him in the eyes, smile! Hold his glance, then look away playfully. Playfully flirt with him, smile alot, andh e'll make the first move, you won't even have to worry about it! But you have to stop sending the wrong signals to him. Everyone is scared of rejection, but what is there really to be scared of? If something happens and he's not interested, just smile and say that's ok... even if you wanna scream and cry on the inside just smile and be a great player... then he'll wonder even more what he's missing out on ;) Good luck!!

Well, why not talk to him about other stuff, teachers you both have, tv shows, just random stuff. If you talk to him more he may seem less intimidating, and you'll get a chance to show you don't hate him or anything. Its even possible he may take it as a possible sign you're interested (which you can deny if it turns out he doesn't like you). Or, if you have a friend he is friends with you can always ask them to try and find out for you, as subtly as possible. Or plan some sort of group thing and invite him along, you'll get to spend time with him without it seeming like a serious date invitation. The more time you spend with him the easier it will be to tell if he likes you and the more time you have to make him notice you.

When you notice him looking at you, just lover your head slightly and a quick glance up at him with a little smile and turn around and walk away. He'll show up eventually. You're just letting him know you noticed him looking. The mean face just isn't going to cut it. I'd stay away if somone did that to me. But slight smile and walking away is not being too flirty, but giving him an open to come and talk to you. Good luck girlfriend!

GOOD GOD I am in the same spot as you sister!!! From my expereince, just smile at him a bit when you two make eye contact. If you have a gut feeling that he really is somewhat interested in what he sees, lock eyes with him for a couple seconds, give him a shy smile and look down...then keep doing that and feel him out....if he starts returning the gesture, just say hi...or How are you in a really cute innocent way. Cute and innocent and coy always works!!! Good luck hunny!

Everyone hates rejection. It sucks. However, some guys are clueless when it comes to hints (such as the one talking to you now). Personally, I hate little games where I have to guess if a woman likes me or not. I like the straightforward type. He may very well be interested, but guys can hide **** like that pretty well when they want to. My advice...be straighforward. A lot of guys like it when a girl shows interest. However if you just want to flirt and drop hints, don't be all subtle and cryptic.

OMG! i have the EXACT same problem... but the key is to have friends to help you.
I have a best friend and she helps me understand things from a different point of view. She is friends with my crush and casually beings me up into her conversations with him. I'm so scared of rejection so i never talk to my crush. What i do is flirt i little bit with the friends around me and my crush will notice and come up to me. If he really likes me, he'll come up and ask me questions concerning some homework or w/e, it may not be much, but hey: its a start!
slowly becomes friends and then you never know, it could happen!

Rejection is part of the game. Stop being so shy and go tell that man you like him for whatever reasons you like about him.
