Crescent Head is near Kempsey in New South Wales.
Crescent Bay is in Tasmania somewhere.
Because I don't know what you are referring to, I can't say if what you've seen is the real deal or a fictionalised place....
All I do know for certain is that Australia is full of beautiful spots most of us natives aren't even aware of.
