please note I have seen her once aand wanna ask her out again, face to face is not a possibility, as I have no clue, where I can find her.I only have her email and number

If you've met in person already, then it's ok to ask either way I think. But if you haven't spoken yet, you might want to do that before going out on a date.

I really wouldn't mind either way. By phone is going to be that bit more personal, but if you get tongue tied or shy, then email is a good, since you can say exactly what you want to say. Another nice thing about email is that if the relationship goes somewhere she'll be able to keep that email for posperity and show it to the kids and grandkids. On second thoughts, maybe that's a disadvantage? ;o)

Well if you can't find her then it isn't the right time to be asking her out in the first place. Get some friends together and have her get some friends and have you all go bowling or to the movies...just get to know her a little better and actually see her in person to ask her out.

I think it is much better to be asked out face to face. Possibly phone, but never e-mail.

I would say if I had to choose one, I would go with the phone becasue an e-mail is not face to face or she she can't here your voice. But It would be alot better if you could find her and ask her yourself.

I think for the first date or two it would be better to ask her out in person, or with a cute little handwritten note (so not email).
After that, calling her on the phone is ok... but I dunno about asking her out over email.

Well, since you can't actually see her, you'll need to choose the phone. It's hard to plan a date on the internet, and it's sorta impersonal.
