It went from 13 stars to 50 stars. The transformation of the 13 colonies to 50 states. So now 50 stars and 13 stripes to represent the 13 colonies. The red, white, andblue I really don't know though. I am assuming red for the confederates and blue for ( I feal dumb now because I don't know what they are called. but they are the ones who led the resistance against the confederates who still wanted the minorities to be slaves). And I am assuming the white represents freedom. Pure. If I ever heard a white lie in my life.

But on this rap song by the RZA he broke it down as such. "I'm in my lab going mad. Took 2 hits from the blunt and started breaking down the flag. The blue is for the cripts, the red is for the bloods, the whites for the cops, and the stars come from the clubs." I forgot the name of the song though, but was off the Wu Forever album. Great album.

To me, the Flag represents the ideas outlined in the US Constitution by the founding fathers. The idea of a country where there is true equality among all human beings, all religions, all races etc. And because of that, it represents the idea of a country where anyone can make a life for themselves and their family if they work hard and believe in themselves.

The American Dream lives on today, and humanity will be in a bad way indeed if ever it is extinguished. Hell, humanity without the American Dream is possibly the scariest thing I can think of.

It means absolutely nothing today. Years ago it signified a free nation where people from other nations could come and live their lives in the pursuit of happiness and such. Now it is a scorned object by many, a thing to be burned and spit upon. To some though, it still symbolizes our freedom and amplifies the bravery of every soldier who ever fought for that freedom whether they lost their lives or not. A piece of every man was forever lost on whatever shore he fought on. A piece of his heart was lost for every act of inhumanity he had to witness to insure our freedom. To me it means courage, honor, and valor. And It should be flown proudly from every home by every person whatever race who had the freedom to come here. And if they don't like it they can damn well have freedom to leave it as well.
