If the Book is right, you'll see stranger and more disasterous things than that! If the Tribulation times described before Jesus' return happen, the bigger part of humanity will be outright killed. There is a great war in Revelation 19 when two enormous armies gather at Megido, in Israel. Christ returns and slaughters the whole lot of them when they turn their weapons on him. When death, famine, war, and pestilence ride this earth its going to be a lot worse than your house lights and internet won't work.

But then, its all a fairy tale, right?--those are the ones who will discover the truth, too late, sadly.

there will be even greater tribulation than no electricity - but
let us think for a minute
refrigerators
stoves
washers/dryers
heat in housing (if no electric, the fan on heater can't blow)
dishwasher
can openers

time to get in touch with nature - only the strong will survive
