We emailed one of our questions to the local morning radio show and he actually read it on the air the next week. There was a big discussion for like 20 minutes with callers and everything.
Also, Mr Erwin was killed by a skeleton.

He got stabbed in the chest by a sting ray while filming an episode on sting rays. The barb penetrated his chest and stabbed him in the heart. He died just a few minutes later. I heard that he was dead almost instantly, but I don't know that for sure.
Barb M. you are a nasty pitiful person. Who are you to judge? He died doing something he loved to do. How many of us can actually say, "I love my job"?
Yes, his wife and children will miss him terribly; I can't imagine what Terri Irwin is going through, and I hope I never do. But think of how many lives Steve Irwin touched? How many people got a kick out of seeing him race after a lizard? Terri was the same way...I think they both made our lives richer and I thank the Goddess we can go back and watch re-runs and learn from his "antics".

His show boating antics finally got himself killed. Because he wanted to push the envelope of danger to it's limits. He has now made his wife a widow and left his young children without a Father.
Plain arrogance, selfishness and stupidity on his part in my personal opinion. I lost all respect for him after he dangled his infant son only a couple of feet from the crocodile, just to hear the excitement from the audience. That was irresponsible of him and he should have been charged with criminal endangerment of a child.
You play with fire, your going to get burned. I can only hope that he was born again sometime in his life before he died. I feel for his wife and children.

He died. He probably never considered that when he put on his scuba gear that would be the last time. Probably was looking forward to doing things with the family tomorrow or the next week. He probably had all kinds of plans for the long and wonderful life he was sure to have. Just goes to show you nobody knows when. Be prepared. Claim Christ as your savior TODAY!

I agree with Barb M. and steve. Wish it wouldnt have happened, feel terrible for his wife and kids. Hope he was ready to meet his Maker and maybe his death will somehow prevent someone else from dying the same way. We can all still enjoy him on previously taped shows, and I hope these will help his children cope with this great lose.

He was scuba diving for sting rays and one came out and stung him in the heart and he died.
