I support the troops, but not the war. HOW? Well it's simple. I realize that the soldiers over there in that uniform aren't the war itself. They are two different things. I think it is very brave for the men and women who are serving (overseas or CONUS) to be willing to accept the consequences of war. For that they are hero's. The war, it's just a completely different entity.

Each and every waking minute of my life. I was in the military, and let me tell you, hearing all of the thank you' s from people you don't even know is a good feeling. We often hear about all of the other b.s. about the war and how it isn't right, but thank you is a seldom heard phrase. We aren't there to determine if it is right or wrong, we are given orders telling us we are going to war. Period. We don't question it, we pack our gear and go, leaving our family, loved ones and friends behind waiting for our return. Thank you to all of you who support the troops, the cards, emails, care packages, etc. are very appreciated by the soldiers (AND CIVILIANS) who are in Iraq and Afghanistan.

There is only ONE way to support our troops. Get them out of the freaking war zone that is killing them EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF.

I've ALWAYS supported our troops. I've NEVER supported the war in Iraq.

yes i support my troops...why wouldn't anyone? they are fighting for all of our freedom and democracy...anyway i am joining the marines after high school

of course. i'll always support our troops. just not the cowards that wouldnt put themselves in harms' way but are perfectly willing to send others to get killed.
