First of all, congratulations on the 50 lb weight loss! That's really significant. You're obviously doing something right to have come so far.

You're going to have to vary up your routine to get rid of the arm and thigh jiggles. You need to continue to lose weight (if you have extra fat on your body, you're bound to see it somewhere, and you might be genetically predisposed to store it on your arms and thighs). But, in addition to shedding fat, if you want to look toned, you're going to have to incorporate that dreaded E work... exercise, specifically strength training exercises.

www.fitnessmagazine.com is a fantastic place to find workouts. I subscribe to their magazine and frequent their website. You can find their article "7 moves for jiggle-free-arms" at http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/fitness/story.jhtml?storyid=/templatedata/fitness/story/data/1145987620114.xml&catref=cat5420006 (NOTE: If the link was too long and Yahoo! Answers abbreviated it, go to www.fitnessmagazine.com, click on WORKOUTS in the upper left hand corner, select "TARGET YOUR TROUBLE SPOTS", and click on "ARMS" to find the article.)

The best exercise I've found for the inner thigh is to do squats with your toes pointed outward. You don't even have to use weights-- just lowering yourself as if you were going to sit down and then standing back up while your toes are pointed at 10 and 2 ten or twenty times is enough to make your inner thighs hurt for days! It's fantastic!

I hope this helps!

First off, remember that your friend's metabolism will be different than yours, so the exact same workout and/or diet could produce different results. Your best bet for losing and maintaining a healthy weight is cardiovascular excercise, especially swimming or distance running. If you run, try to do it 3-5 times a week. For swimming, do it a little less to give your muscles recovery time. Stretch afterwards for either. For building muscle, remember that higher reps with lower weights will give you a better tone, but not make you as strong, while low reps and high weights will give you stronger, thicker muscle. Try to leave a day in between days you go to the gym.

There's a newly developed weight management plan that does exactly this. It's called the Cinch plan.

On most diets, you lose muscle as well as fat. When you lose muscle, you lose some of your body's ability to burn fat, and your metabolism drops.

The doctors, nutritionists, and scientists at this company drew upon years of sports and nutrition science to create an easier and healthier plan. In a recent preliminary clinical trial, the scientists tested a proprietary formula enhanced with the amino acid leucine. People in the program lost fat, weight, and inches while retaining 100% of their lean muscle.

This program became available in August.

Hope this is useful and to find out the specifics of the plan, feel free to contact me for the website.

The bas news is that it's probably not fat. It's skin. Skin doesn't shrink when fat does and so far scientitsts don't know why. The only solution right now is plastic surgery to remove the excess skin tissue but I would wait until you get closer to your final goal weight.

Do you use weights? Use the right machines that work your trouble spots. Bat wings (arm flab) is hard to get rid of, use hand weights and exercises that are just for that zone.
