Currently, I will be starting a new school year of university studies at a new university that I recently transferred to. I have a few long days of classes per week at university, but I don't have time or money to buy lunch and dine at the school's cafeteria and/or on-campus restaurants. Yet, I only have less than a few hours of spare time on my long day of classes. I bought some bottled spring water, (dry) grain snack bars, and listerine pocket packs. Is there anything else you may recommend for a healthy snack, for someone in my situation; and that won't make my stomach sick, will probably satisfy my hunger, and won't make my breath bad? Serious answers ONLY! Thanks you very much!

You could make you some lettuce wraps w/sandwhich meat and mustard & mayo. A good 2-3 of these will hold you over for a little bit. Mixed Nuts will work really good for a healthy snack. Sunflower seeds (deseeded), Almonds, peanuts, and others mixed together. Cheesesticks are a good choice, but might go bad if not eaten soon enough. Cut up some veggies and mixed into a small ziplock bag for a quick snack. Try not to eat refined carbs though (breads or sugary things) cause they will give you a quick boost but in the long run make you more tired and hungry. Keep drinking the H2O cause it will hydrate you; in which times we think we are hungry but were just dehyrated. Try packing Crystal Lites to-go, this will give you something better than just plain water & will cure your sweet tooth! Enjoy & Good luck!

P.S.
For breakfast you could make a Zip-lock omlet. Its really simple. Just put a couple of eggs, veggies, meat in zip-lock baggie & mix. Boil enough water to cover the bag. Put temp. on Med-high, just enough for the water to start rolling. Boil the eggs in the baggie for about 13-15 mins. And wha-la, you have your breakfast. You can mix the eggs the night b/f if you like and just boil in the morn (thats what i usually do)

Are you a nut?...hmmmm..I mean a nut person? Haha...no really I have just found out that Almonds are a great Detoxing grain...and also, great diet aid plus adds a bit of energy. Also, for me, peanut butter for some quick energy...maybe like those pb and crackers packages. Grapes ride well in a back pack along with dehydrated banana slices and/or apples. You can find most of these at a very inexpensive Aldi's store or actually a dollar store has the pb and crackers. Water is very good, but add a fruit juice to your diet in the middle of the day it's a great picker upper...Remember to watch your sugars....they will make you lethargic and tired. Good luck!

Romein Noodle packs are good when you have time to warm the water up in a microwave. They are very easy to cook and very cheap! Also Campbells soup in a cup is good and healthy.
Sandwiches with peanut butter are healthy, and also cheap. Also, they won't go bad...nothing to spoil in a day.
Protein bars or breakfast bars would be great too...you might be able to find a cheaper non-brand kind at Walmart...but I'm not sure about that one.
Good luck! You are to be commended for your efforts, and you will have no regrets for your struggles once you have completed your studies. Cheers to a prosperous future!

Canned beans. Since (most of them) are precooked, you can eat them right out of the can without preparation. Add some toast and maybe some veggies. There! A quick, cheap, cold meal with ingredients that keep a while (except for the veggies, of course). Instant rice with beans and veggies, as well as cold oatmeal with milk and fruit make great, quick snacks.

When I was always on the "Go" with working full-time, and school, I used to buy those, mini Red Delicious apples.. There filling and keep your teeth nice & white, as well as no bad breath, from it.... Get some "Granola" they have big bags in the grocery stores... Just get a Generic brand, its just as good,,and cheaper... For dinner... I use to eat baked chicken with only honey and garlic on it.. with steamed vegeez, a baked potatoe, with salsa on it, and whole wheat bread..... You want to talk about filling and nutritious, and fairly inexpensive.... For breakfast, before your coffee or tea, have a banana & a whole honey bran muffin, you want to wait about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes so it can digest... Then have your coffee ... This banana will give you energy a good part of your morning, and the bran muffin has antioxidants in the honey part of it... That will keep your spirits up.. To save time, you could steam your vegeez, like squash zuccini, and carrots, the night before, put them in a tupperware container that you can put in the fridge with your potatoe... Then at school, just heat it up for about 3 minutes in the schools microwave.. Then you have your lunch, you can eat in the "study-hall", while your studying , your getting proper nutrition too.... To help you to keep going throughout your day & night.... This diet is so energizing & nutritious!! You wont want to go back ,to anything else.... You can replace your chicken with Salmon, and just put, extra virgin olive oil, a little salt & parsley garlic on it, and this is also very good for you!! It has alot of protein & vitamin e, and its so "Yummy!!" But bake it.... On a 350 oven for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes..... You can always take the chicken to school with you, in your vegee container.. to reheat in the microwave, too.. Happy Eating & Hope you get more time, to relax, in the near future.. And can afford this diet.. You wont regret it, if you try it, I do promise you this!! Smile!!!

cut up veggies in a ziplock bag (carrots, peppers, cauliflower, celery), PB sandwich (can stay all day), crackers (don't waste money on the tiny little packs of stuff - buy a regular box and put in ziplock) - cookies, Hot Rods or jerky. Make sure you have juice once in a while - it's a healthy energy boost.

Stock up on Altoids and Pop tarts. You never know when you're going to need a pop tart. Gatorade will also help. Redbull is good when used wisely. Most of all take vitamins; C, A, E, and Selinium. B6 and B12 will help keep you're energy up. Also Airborne tablets and Echinacea will help prevent colds. Don't forget to party.
