Everything created must be destroyed. Remember the whole community of dinosours were destroyed by nature. It must be true that mankind will destroy itself else the nature will ultimately do it.

I don' t think that mankind will destroy itself, but there are much more powerful forces which will ultimately bring the demise of mankind. Like collision of planets, or if a big enough meteor struck the earth, or if earth got out of its orbit and started moving head long in the universe. These are the forces which we cannot control. And one of these possible scenarios is bound to happen sooner or later. So goodbye my friend we are bound to extinction.

In few years to come, the sins of the mankind will increase parallel,to that there will be an increase in natural disasters like the tsunami in Dec. 2004. In those natural phenomenas, the people who had done great sins will die and only the good people will live. The process will start again of reproducing . This is the truth and it was written in some of the books.

I don't think so. A lot of bad things happen in the world but also a lot of good things happen too. It's only that the bad news spread the furthest and more quickly so the situation always looks worse than it really is.
Everything in the universe is a chaos trying to reach the balance and Mother Nature works the same.. everytime we cross the line (with polution, exploatation...) she will make sure to re-establish the balance again. So I think she will have a final word, not us.

NO! that would be proving that mankind never existed...that's more philosophy. God didnt put us here to destroy ourselves, we need to get rid of all the negativity we surround oursleves with. Be positive and learn that mankind will ultimately prevail and understand life's most important lessons with God's help everyday, every second...and forever.

No, it's not possible, coz everything is in the Lord's hands. Man by himself can't do anything-we humans think we can create and disintegrate anything whereas it is not so -only when the Lord wishes can mankind be destroyed

The whole solar system will cease to be what it si now as and when the sunn exhausts its fuel .It may happen in about ten to tfifteen millin years hence . but efore that themankind is capable of destroying the earth by its misdeeds and idiotic philosophies for mutual destruction .The religions may play a major role in the destruction of the earth as they are sure to incur the wrath of the god for commiting atrocities in the name of god .

Yes. As long as we are solo-planetary in nature. Once we colonize, or inhabit the moon, the likelyhood of a singular catastrophy(manwise or other) destroying our line is much lessened.

we are well on the way now
we are poisoning our oceans, the primary source of our oxygen,
we have poisoned many water supplies.
we are destroying our fauna and flora. at an amazing rate.
amphibians, (the earths mine canaries) are in serious danger, then we have manknd.
the radical diaper heads are hell bent to get nukes, and with the current thinking it is difficult to guess if they will ues them against us or themselves.
if you are christian and familiar with the book of revelations, we have many parallels.
i see so much danger that i doubt if technology can save us from ourselves
