I have Windows XP and it has recently been installed. I hit ctrl, alt, delete and it will bring up the task manager but only for a fraction of a second. I didnt have this problem a few days ago but installed some drivers for a printer and scaner plus photoshop elements and the next time I turned it on it was doing it. Please help.

you should download updates Sp1 and Sp2 from Microsoft page and see if the problem disappear

do a restore point from before you installed the new stuff and try the driver updates one at a time testing the task mgr. after each driver update. When you know which one is messing you up you can decide from there what to do.
