The quick facts:

(1) Brother is good friends with attractive girl from TX
(2) She is in town for a wedding so I give her a short tour of the town
(3) She is desperate for a boyfriend because she lives in BFE TX
(4) She decided she's interested in me and won't stop calling and now wants to send me gifts for giving her the tour
(5) She's now officially very annoying
(6) She is (bizarrely) a hunter so there is the fear of her turning her deer rifle on me (Fatal Attraction style)

How do I unload this loaded weapon and not piss my brother off or risk my own health?

I highly recommend 1 of 3 things.

Option 1 - Send her the following email:

"I am flattered by your interest. However, there is no love connection here. I didn't mean to cause you any sorrow. I didn't mean to cause you any pain. All I want to do is see you laughing - in the purple rain. Purple Rain."

Option 2 - Text message her the following message.

"Leave me alone. F'off B!T@H"
Then, immediately send another text message saying,
"I'm sorry, that email wasn't meant for you."

Option 3 - Tell her you are interested but only if she will do a menage a trois

Tell her "Look I like you but I am in a serious relationship with someone I met on-line I am kind of embarrassed that I met her on-line that's why I have not said anything to anyone, but she is coming down next week, if things don't work out, give me your number and I will give you a call"

That should explain it all. Then have a lady friend pose as the girl on the phone if need be.

TELL HER striaght out that you are not interested and to stop calling.

You can't call it harassment if the other person has NOT been told that their actions are unwelcomed. Stop answering her calls, block her emails. Document all of her behavior, and if you really think you are not safe, call the cops and file a personal protection order.

(and just becuase someone is a deer hunter does NOT mean that they are pyschos who will shoot you. Cool your ego for a bit - you aren't all that)

I would say talk to her about how you feel. Get everything out in the open. If you cut her off without explaining yourself then that could just lead to problems. Once you two have talked then you can decide what do do from there. it is too early for anyone to really give you advice besides talk to her. If you do anything drastic it could upset her and if you think she is this crazy I do not think you want to do that...

Try to lay it gently on her.
First, I would suggest telling her that although she is a beautiful woman, you're not interested in dating. Let her know that you are grateful that she is appreciative for the help you've given but that gifts are unnecessary. Explain to her that you are not looking for a girlfriend but that a friendship would be fine.
If she still bothers you, talk to your brother about it, and then change your number.

Take a picture or capture her on a video doing her thing.
Report and put a restriction order with the police.

Simply tell her that her actions are unacceptable and you do not wish to see her again. If she insists, tell you will will go to the police and get a restraining order placed on her.

(1)Tell your brother first so he doesn't get blind-sided. Chances are, he already knows this woman's wacked.

(2)Tell her you you are involved with someone else and please stop calling.

(3) This is called stalking. Call the police.
