A year ago I met a woman in my mothers group through my church ( not everyone in the group is religious and thats fine ) her son got sick with NO explanation. her 5 yr old had something wrong with his heart, it was enlarging with no explanation. Some other test showed problems with his kidney and liver.
Her son, we'll call him Joe got to the point of asking his mom Am I going to die. She said NO. Joe was in one of the best hospitals in the country with the top dr''s in their fields.
Our mothers group started making them meals, praying and doing what we do. Her husband who is Indian from India came home to find all these baskets with toys for their son and meals in tupperware. He asked her why? she said thats what christians do and they are also praying for us.
As this was happening, everynight we'd get updates about Joe. One night I was like GOD why and how could you do this to a 5 yr old child, I know im not supposed to question or ask but please just a sign and I would

cry for my friend. the day they were going to cut the boy open to do a biopsy they decided to do another routine check, and everything that was wrong with him, disappeared. HE was fine. no explanation.
you ask why I believe, I believe that 60 women praying and their families reached GOD and he answered. say its stupid, but to some of us who were there and have gone through things like that know the truth

why do you believe?

ok i do believe prayer helps people. but not because GOD chose to save the boy but because all thoses people were sending there energy to the boy. their good thoughts, that is what helped him heal himself. NOT GOD.
(i am glad he got better..no child should ever have to suffer)

And if Joe's parents had been praying to a toilet seat I guess they would associate their son's "miraculous" recover with indoor plumbing.

In any case I think your story is a lie.

I am so happy for them. I have seen miracles too. And it leaves me with no doubts God is there.
