You would have to fly from CA to NYC, I think that is about 4-5 hours. And then fly from NYC to Paris and I can't remember how long that is.

it depends on which direction it is faster to go from california to france approx 11 hours than it is to go from France to California approx 13 hours. This is due to the way the jet streams flow and the given lattitudes of the 2 areas

Well figure this, I live in Montreal and it takes me 5 hours to fly to France and it takes me 5 hours to fly to California, so I am assuming it takes 10hours from California to France...
