I'm a Christian, and this is embarrassing for me. No, I don't believe demons inhabit nonbelievers. It's really extreme.

that would be funny if they weren't serious
don't worry, most of us realize that not all Christians are like that

Well, to be fair, it looks like this quote started in the middle of a sentence, so hard to say how it started out. I think the jist of the statement is that if you are a Christian (really, not just in words but as your committed way of life) that the demons will look elsewhere, for an easier target for a home that won't be as much work for them.
But it is absolutely insane to think that every non-believer is possessed. If that is what the writer said, then that's crazy!!

it isn't as "far out" as you think.
Demons(spirits), which I loosely connect to people controlled by some outside force (like serial killers) and satan (yes he is real) do exist, I believe. It is the "demon" in us that cause us to do real bad things...
...if you think there is no 'battle" going on inside us ("good vs evil"), then you won't understand. the stronger the faith and the belief that God can defeat these demons (alcohol consumption, drugs) is what a relationship with God is all about.
So, I think what the poster meant is that the two (demons and the power of God through the Spirit) cannot peacefully co-exist in your being.
I hope that helped you understand. email me with questions if you'd like.

i can believe that someone wrote that, yes. there are so many different "beliefs" and "religions" out there today that its possible you will hear anything from anyone. i would have to say personally i dont believe that all non-believers have demons inside them. i believe it is possible for someone to become demonically possessed, but i dont believe its a common accurance like this person thinks. regardless it is interesting to hear another persons beliefs even if i dont agree with them personally. its interesting to learn other peoples perception of the bible, and also other peoples thoughts on heaven/hell and god/satan. humanity will always disagree about something, why not learn what we are actually disagreeing on and listen to other peoples reasoning behind thier beliefs. it makes it easier to feel sustained and complete in your own beliefs.

Many Christians, myself included, do believe that demons exist but are not able to posess true, believing Christians. So the last line isn't particularly shocking.
The first one, if it isn't taken out of context, implies that the writer thinks that all nonbelievers are demon posessed. While I wish such ideas didn't exist, I sadly have no difficulty believing someone would think that.

Yep, I can believe it. This is actually pretty common of those who listen to those pastors who blame everything on demons... including things like Colds and Headaches. The type that claims, if a believer gets sick it's because their faith isn't strong at that time. They fear anything they do not understand... and they simply can not understand how a person can not believe as they do.

Some people truly believe that. They will learn in time. Though demons do look for those who are weak and unprotected. But even people who believe in God get attacked. You need a strong faith and strong will.
But not every non believer has a demon living in them.

Where is ur question and ur point? It is immature to single someone out or their truthful opinion because you don't agree with it. Respect his beliefs then others will respect you but probably people won't now because of the unfair judgment you presented against someones personal views. Grow up!

People write and say lots of crazy things. Pat Robertson said that his own personal prayer thwarted a hurricane from demolishing the state of Florida, and people still give him money to operate Liberian Gold Mines. It's a crazy world.

It helps when you quote to:
1. Give the source
2. Give the context
If you shocked by nasty comments make sure you read the ones from non-believers to believers or are you only interested in making believers look bad?
