Go to the Financial Aid office at the college. There is a lot of help you can get. There are also some scholarships you can apply for. Some of them require an essay, so you may want to practice spelling "financial" correctly.

you can apply for the Education Maintenance Allowance (E.M.A). I'm sure some colleges hand out the forms, then maybe u can get £10, £20 or even £30 a week, depending on the income your parents receive anually. http://www.dfes.gov.uk/financialhelp/ema/

If you are only just starting college and haven't done any previous college courses you should be able to apply for a college bursary. If you have already had a college bursary then you would have to look into getting a student loan or funding the course yourself.

Ok I don't think that at 16 your starting college. One you have to graduate. Two if you were a genius and graduating that early you would be in special classes and have people overseeing your educational needs. Don't worry about college... finish high school.

EMA may be suitable for you depending on your household income

You may also be eligible for a kind of hardship fund if this is needed

In either case you will need to speak to your LEA
