FAITH is belief that has a firm basis for expectation.
Like the title deed to a land purchase. Deed is evidence the land exisits and you own it.
On another level FAITH is belief in action. More than a simple belief, when one has acted upon it, it then becomes a conviction or way of living.

Faith can be compared to a child who have a complete trust to his father or to anyone whom has taken cared of him ever since his toddler years.
Observe a child who is so active on window ledge or on a dining table. If the caretaker is very near and reachable in a given time, the boy will jump with a firm belief that someone will catch him or a belief that he will fall still standing. That is when he has faith in the caretaker or himself. Once he gets hurt, it will take sometime before he repeats the process or not repeat the same anymore and that is losing faith.
