Go to the hairdressers that cut afro caribbean hair and get them to trim the dry ends which will make your hair look healthy. My friend who is a girl and a afro caribbean hairdresser says if you use hair products that are oil based use a clarifying shampoo to remove residue you also should use a deep strengtening conditioner for afro hair everytime you shampoo this will keep hair strong and help improve your hairs elasticity. Braiding hair at night (but not too tight) helps it not to break as you sleep but try and wear a silk scalf at night to keep it neat. Try a moisturising leave in conditioner for afo and try not to touch your hair too often of wear tight bands because it breaks the hair.

Hope this helped!

The main reason for dry hair is wind, sun and sea. Afro carribean hair is generally known as being coarse, and regular trims will help your hair get in good condition. Your hair is probably lacking moisture so L'anza Moisture shampoo and Conditioner would probably help reduce dryness and soften the hair.

There are TONS of natural oils you can put in your hair to make it soft and less damaged looking. Check out a SALLY store. They offer tons of stuff... Even baby oil will make your ends not so dry looking.
