Michael betrays the survivors and leads Jack, Sawyer, Hurley and the Fugitive Chick to the Others who give him a boat and his son. John loses faith in his 'mission/purpose' and doesn't push the button with Desmond who ::surprise:: finds his way back to the island. They both figure out to late that the button is highly important and that it most likely cause their plane accident, as the machine emits a blinding white light that retracts once Desmond uses the key to shut it down. The Heroin addict and the Australian girl become friends again. Oh, and Desmond’s girlfriend has people apparently looking out for geomagnetic disturbances and they alert her when the white light is emitted from the button machine goes off.

They find the survivors from the middle section of the plane which also included a helicopter (with pilot), a speed boat and a submarine. There isn't third series.
Just kidding I love it too. I think it's some thing to do with Michael and Walt. Michael isn't everything he seems anymore.....hmmmmm. Something like that anyway. You can always check the official site too.

I found it dull.if you go onto abc.com they give you recaps.
If you want to know - Desmond returns as he cant seem to leave the island and his ex girlfriend is in on this. Its all very confusing!
