get to level 2 in this site. everytime i ask a question my points go down a little and yesterday i asked this same with but alot of perfaniteis and my question was taken off and i lost alot of points is that one of the reasons i can't move up. please answer this question if you know

Your points add up when you answer, and you spend them when you ask a question. Look next to your name on the left side of the page - where your points totals are - click that link and it tells about the levels and the points in detail. Good luck.

You are presently at -36 (negative points). Everytime you ask a question at Level 1, it is negative -5 points. You asked the same question 3 or four times even though you worded it just a little different. Just ask once and wait. If you delete questions, the system will also give you negative points. To earn points, you need to find other people's questions in which you know the answer, then click on "answer this question", and add your comments.
Check the Yahoo Answers point system scale and learn what points are needed to obtain Level 2. The example on the page below also shows when points are subtracted and when they are added.
It takes time. Patience and good answers to others questions are the key to moving up.

You're asking too many questions. You are actually in a -36 points this week.
Everytime you ask a question it costs you 5 points. Try to demonstrate some knowledge in answering some questions.
also when you have one of your answers selected as the best answer, you get 10 points

you get points added for visiting and answering ?'s, the take five everytime you ask a ?. as for the profanities, try to word it without it. Y.A. sticks to the guidelines they lay out for participents. If they don't think its fitting or appropriate they will not post what you want. Many don't mind, cursing and stuff, but there are enough out there that would just like to visit a site on the web and not have to read profanities, thats why they have porn sites and chat rooms designated for that sort of thing. Ask your question, follow yahoo guidelines, and be respectful of those who pass by reading and are looking to be helpful. you have to give more than you get in order to get the points in here.

Everytime you ask a question you lose 5 points. Everytime you answer a question you gain 2 points.

u have ato keep ANSWERING questions to get 2 points each time...u get 10 points if u get chosen as best answer.
asking points TAKES AWAY 5 points, and u only get 3 points back if u choose a best answer.
so the best way to get to level 2 is to keep answering questions like crazy, and trying to write "good" answers so u get chosen as Best. good luck

Start looking around for questions that you can answer. Don't ask questions, ANSWER THEM! If you keep doing this you will eventually be picked for best answer and get five pts back and for every question answered you will get two pts.
