Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

Jehovahs Witnesses do very much beleive in Jesus Christ! They just are not trinitarians and do believe Jesus is not Before his Father who he himself called God.
The are aggressive in their preaching because they believe we are in the "last days". And they are following Two major scriptures. ONe where Jesus COMMANDS his followers to Preach the, evangelize, and baptize in the name of the Father, son ,and Holy Spirit. Even Door to door! and the other which I believe is Matthew 24:14 "The Good News of God will be preachd to all the inhabited earth and then the end will come." They are trying to get the news of salvation through Christ and his Father, GOD, to all the people in the earth b4 the end comes. This I find commendable.
But they are pushy, they can come off as know it alls, and they dont appreciate that people work all week and would like to sleep in Saturdays. Even though no Jehovahs Witness anywhere knocks on anyones door before 10 am. No one wants to be woken up by someone at their door that they dont know, even if they are preaching a good word!

You are making a generalized statement. Not everybody is hateful toward JWs.
The trouble is that they often do not listen when they are told that a person has their own beliefs and that they are not interested in a discussion. Some of them keep on talking, or they will come back repeatedly, after being told to go away. Sometimes they return very early in the morning -- who wants to deal with that at 8:00am?
I had a great aunt who was JW, and she was always well liked until she converted to JW. Then, she got her side of the family to convert, and then they tried to get all of the others to convert. They kept coming around. It would have been nice to visit with them and to enjoy each other's company, but they were obsessed with their witnessing. It was all they wanted to talk about and finally, they made things so hurtful that nobody wanted to see them -- for any reason. That was back in the early 1960s, and things are much the same over 40 years later. They keep to themselves, and the rest of us don't bother with them. It's sad because everybody got along well until they would not respect our desire to live our lives as we wanted. But it in no way means that there was any hatred. Absolutely none!

I'm glad you used the word "hateful" rather than hate. People probably would think that I hate the Jehovah Witnesses. I don't.
I do - however, treat them hatefully.
I treat anyone that way who intrudes on my private space and time without invitation. Its the same as the folks who interupt my dinner to sell me a new windshield.
If I need a new windshield I'll find someone who sells it.
If I need a new religion, I'll find someone who preaches it.

I think people resent them knocking on the door all the time. On the whole jehovah's witnesses are fine, I used to be one but saw far too much hypocracy so i quit, as time has gone on i've become an atheist.

Hateful is not the word i would use. The lady who takes care of me is a Jehovah's Witness and the word you are looking for is - bothersome, they go around and bug the crap out of people till you just want to not listen to any thing they have to say. My worker Say's it is how they do things, keep talking about what they believe in till some one gets it.

Well, for one thing it is annoying for them to come knocking on the door so early in the morning. They don't celebrate Christmas or their birthdays (this information was given to me by friends that are Jehovah's Witnesses) and not to mention they are always pushing The Watch Tower magazine at you

Because you're just chilling in your apartment eating lunch and they knock on your door. You tell them you're not interested and they shove their child through your door and tell you that he/she needs a glass of water. You give the kid a glass of water and they keep going on, even though you told them in no uncertain terms you're not interested. Not to mention they practice shunning members who quit or are in cuhoots with other shunned members. I do not see how ANY Christian group could support breaking up families...they blatantly ignore the parable of the prodigal son and are just an annoyance in general.

They do believe in Jesus Christ...and totally believe in the Bible and the end of times. I think the reason people are so hateful towards them is fear of the unknown and hate of people that seem different. It's wrong to be hateful to anybody. Christianity does NOT give you the right to be cruel. It goes against your teachings.

Because most Jehovah's Witnesses are so persistant in converting people when most people do not have an interest in being converted religiously. Most people prefer their independence privacy.
