there are many christians (note i said many not all or even most) are quick to condem others with scripture especially gays and pagans yet they seem to over look the sciptures that tell them not to judge others? is this an honest oversight or just a convenient way for them to draw attention away from their own wrong doings?

Real answer.
The scripture condemns people like gays and pagans. The old testament says men should not sleep with other men as they do women. So, the bible condemns this action, not christians.
The bible also says to recognize evil and separate yourselves from it.
So, when asked by people like you, they would have to say being gay is wrong because that is their belief system. They don't condemn the person except for the fact that the behavior according to them (and me). is condemnable!
So why do you shove the accpetance of the behavior down our throats?
We are ALLOWED TO SAY WHAT WE THINK!!!! JUST LIKE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and we all are doing wrong...there is no perfect christian nor do we claim to be!!! Where did you get that from?
You know, if there are 20 bank robbers, do I have to accept bank robbing? If you think robbing banks is ok (atheists might someday), is it ok? Do I have to think its ok?
if I am a bank robber, does that mean being you being gay is ok?
So, what I do isn't the question because I am a bank robber. But bank robbing is not ok.....and being gay is not ok.
Can you understand this?

If we judge with God's authority it isn't our judgment, it's His. Most of what I have seen here is christians telling you what God has said.
Rev.21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death
