Simply talk to him about it. You know him more than we do. Some guys are never romantic and most likely never will be. Some are always romantic, and some just need a little push to feel comfortable.

well hell don't wait till he is romantic do it your self make him a candle lit dinner or take him out to a restaurant and do it you self this is the new millennium and things are changing but if you want him to do it make up a story about how 1 of your friends that her bf or husband did some thing romantic and ask him y he doesn't do that for you or drop hints like what you want and i don't know what else to say but good luck and i hope this helps

Let him know what you want! Tell him you'd like more romance in your life and explain to him why (makes you feel special, etc.). If he loves you, he should work with you on this issue.
Also, initiate your own romance. Buy him a rose, take him to dinner. Most people respond in kind...if you treat him a certain way, he's likely to return the favor.

Find his hidden stash of porn movies (most men have secret hiding places for them) and place a romantic hallmark card there that say, "I love you."
He'll feel guilty as hell and by you not screaming in anger at him, he'll feel awkward as heck.
He'll have no choice but to be romantic around you.
