well they are a people who are so stupid and unintelligent that all it needs is some bearded coward in the hills to tell them it is their duty to die for islam. And to die for islam is to enter heaven where many many virgins await their arrival.

Iraqi citizens don't. Well - not anymore than you or I do. Terrorists/extremists do however because they feel that they're sacrificing themselves for their people and to Allah and will be rewarded in heaven.
They also do it presumably because it scares the s**t out of westerners.
My other opinion as to why they do it is because they're bat s**t crazy.

Martin Luther King Jr. said "Anyone with nothing to die for has nothing to live for". They are trying to rid the world of infidels. Not all Islamic people feel this way. See my next question.
