I'm doing a disco/dance/karaoke party for 2 of our preteen girls (9&12) and would LOVE some ideas for it!!! Thank You!

go to a craft store and buy tiny disco balls or even crystals that when have lights on them, they will shine and reflect on the walls.
get old lp's, and string them from the ceiling.
for a great punch: fix in a large bowl, orange sorbet, and ginger ale, and a bit of fruit punch,. its tastes great and they will think they are so grown up, and it has no alcohol it in. even the adults will like it.
have the girls dress up on bellbottom pants and polyster shirts (go to good will store or a thrift store, they should carry them) and it wont cost much.
also party city or party supermarket has a few items for the table that you can used, and they are fairly unexpensive.

Here's a good site to go to for part supplies (they have some things for a disco theme). We get stuff from here all the time and it's wonderful. I think they have a disco ball and some other things. http://www.orientaltrading.com/

burn a cd (or you could get a compilation at borders or barnes and noble)
have stuff for them to dress up in costume there
watch saturday night fever (although some parts may not be alright) or a movie like that
do you have a disco ball?
could do disco-themed foods though I can't think of any (fondue?)
