Farmers will be hit hard, because of the lack of cheap labor.
Prices will rise, the government will subsidize them even more than they currently do. All the money that might be 'saved' through the lessened strain on education and health systems would be spent to help the farmers.
Let them stay and work hard on the farm, and let their children work hard to rise in the socioeconomical ranks. That's America folks.

OMG, that means that I will have to learn to pick my own tomatoes and mow my own yard. Just kidding. It won't hurt anything except for the places that hire them might have to hire some legal workers and our health care may go down.

They talk about how the illegals keep the price of produce low, well I just paid $2.00 for a medium size tomato and $4.00 for some celery hearts. That's not low.Is it?
But I will gladly pay more if all the illegals are deported, close the borders place the military to guard them and put fear in their illegal azzs .NO amnesty ,no free pass to citizenship.Report and Deport all illigels.ASAP.I will donate to that cause ,wouldn't you ?

Everyday without illegal aliens is a wonderful day.... May all our days SOON become wonderful....
Higher wages.... less crime.... less burden on the following: our schools, our hospitals, our roads, our prisons, our children, our economy, etc.
Our immigration laws will be enforced for a change..... Congress will end its corruption on this issue.... will have to see about the president.... Bush corrupt? on the illegal alien issue, he is totally corrupt. It is up to the legal citizens of the USA to end the corruption on the illegal alien issue in our government.
There are absolutely NO DISADVANTAGES to list.... and, Mexico might finally show some respect for the laws of the USA and develop a better relationship with the USA.... Mexico will have to end its CORRUPTION in its government first and finally do something for its people....

Don't get me wrong, I wish we would take better control of the situation. Dang it, if they like fighting for rights so much, they need to go back to their own countries and fight.

LMAO!!!You gotta be kidding!Ok for starters. We would ruin our relationship with Mexico. We actually DO need good relations with Mexico (believe it or not).I don't know what lies your talking about.I don't whine(alot). It won't make ppl more patriotic, but I will agree with feeling more secure. How will it make medical care more manageable?Population will still continue to rise.Crime will still rise.Other countries would look down on us further.Mexico will find help from countries like China and Cuba.Does that make you feel more secure?
Have a nice day.

A country is an open system. Illegal entry is unavoidable because legal entries are regulated. If you choke a steam pipe by using the legal valve, somewhere somewhen, something is bound to happen apart and away from the legal valve.
Workers are citizen of the world. They are not bound by the country of origin because what they produce has universal value. If america has a universal value which its citizens are incapable of producing, its inevitable that illegals will do it for them.
Every country has its share of useless population. In america its unfortunate that this useless population are taken care of by the state. In other countries the opposite happens, there are citizens willing to work but their governments are incapable of channeling its resources for them. So they will look for greener pastures.
Can america pick all its orages? sweep all its streets, care for all its sick? operate all its factories? Fill all its universities? I don't think so. China is becoming a tiger because it can. With plenty of spares.
