I would guess she would be a size small or medium. Dress size 4-6. Go look in her closet to make sure. Look at something she has worn recently, because many women's weight fluctuates and they own a range of sizes. You want to make sure to get the size she wears now, not the size of something she wore 2 years ago.
It's hard to shop for women and hard to find a perfect fit in something off the rack without trying it on. You can do everything right, but sometimes the cut or style just won't work for her. Save the receipt just in case!

First of all - go to your wife's closet and look at the garment tags - they list the size.
But from what you described, she is probably a nice size 6, no more than that, and a medium in un-sized clothes.
Keep in mind that most designer and better labels run small, but I would stick to the size your wife really is and not buy anything bigger.
It's really hard to determine your wife's size just from her weight and height - is she athletic or not, does she carry her weight in her stomach, her hips or is she proportioned?
Just check the labels on her clothes.
Or if that's not an option, take a pair of her best fitting pants to the store with you and compare it to other clothes in the store - this way you'll be able to figure out the size.
But since you're not home, here's the sizing:
US 6
European sizing about 39.

it all depends on what you are going to buy. Some things are small, med, lg. and then others are by number size. If something sexy for bed with her height I would go for something long and sleek in a medium. If buying something to wear out for fun try bottom size in a 7/8 or 6. If looking for a top that is fitted because that is in try a small, if in doubt try a medium. man how long have you been married.hahahahahahah

I would think about a size 5 but, for the length you may need to either buy 5 longs or go with a size 7 for the length.Good Luck!

I really couldn't tell you as I haven't been 120 lbs since I was in like 8th grade and I am 5'9 lol. However, there is a website that allows you to put in your height and weight and measurements to help you pick out clothing it is http://www.myvirtualmodel.com/ I hope that this helps :-) Happy searching.

That is very difficult to say without knowing her exact measurements. Really, she could be any size, more information is needed, including her bust, waist and hips measurements, then we can let you know. HTH.
