It was important to me in the sense that I didn't want to lose it to just anyone and I didn't. But does not being a virgin anymore change your life? Not really.

Mine isn't because its gone but I wish I had been more informed on its importance at the time. My daughter's virginity is important to me and I hope it will be to her when she's older.

yes, if you're a virgin and you marry a virgin you have about 100% odds of not getting an STD. I'm a 20 year old virgin and it's not because I can't get any; it's because I don't want to until I'm married.
