Probably the asme reason that Thee and Thou aren't used...kind of ancient sounding

I guess, only few people know about it or they were not being used in school as well. It is probably easier to say and remember "three times" than "thrice". When I was in school in the Philippines, I knew that the word thrice existed. When I came here in US, my co-worker laughed at me because he didn't think that thrice is a word.

more than twice is boring.

It is still used but in more formal language
