I know the nicknames I have for my kids are odd but they're out of love...my oldest son, now 12, was nicknamed "Bean" (or Beans or Joey Bean) (that came around his 1st easter) as a baby...my younger son did something silly and I just called him a Goober and Goober (or Goob or Gooby or Goobs) stuck. My daughter who is 16 mos old was nicknamed by my younger son during my pregnancy, he asked if he could nickname the baby and said that was his baby Duck so the poor girl is stuck with Ducky for life lol.

When my daughter was full term she did a lot of moving in my stomach. Two weeks before I was due an ultra sound showed her head down. A day later she was head up, then again head down, then again head up. So when she was born we called her Flipper. My husband still calls her that.

I don't really have anything cute that I call my son. I have always just called him by his name or Sweetie.

I call my son(Rudy) Rooster because he is such a little chicken he is afraid of everything! His twin sister (Ruthy) we call Cowboy because that's what all the nurses called her during her 96 day stay in the NICU she is one tough little cookie! She survived even though nobody thought she would. She had 3 heart surgeries 19 blood transfusions and a host of other difficulties and is still a happy little girl who is not afraid of anything!

My daughter was given the nickname "Mommy's Little Monkey" while I was still pregnant. Her name is Sammi so we started calling her Sammi-Lammi-Ding Dong, which my husband has shortened to Ding-Dong. She even refers to herself that way.

I am pregnant now and since the baby is moving so much I've decided she's my Disco Baby, she likes to shake her groove-thing.

I call my son baby bumkin, bumble, silly little boy. My mother-in-law and husband call him punkin, or punky. and my grandparents call him took-a-bunse or something like that which i don't know what it means, or how to spell, but is a Jamaican thing. Them and my mom also call him baby with the (apple) "a" sound like the Jamaicans say.

My daughter's name is Dominique, but I pretty much call her anything that comes to mind. Mostly Lucibelle or Lucy, Mama and Sweet Pea, but also Dewy, Ladybug and Lovebug. Dominique is usually reserved for when she's in trouble. :)
