...because God does it, and he cannot do anything which is not good? I guess I was just turned around on the whole good/bad thing. Killing, torture etc... isn't INTRINSICALLY bad, it's just disobediant. People's feelings don't matter. When your loved ones die, and you feel bad, that's just your problem. And if someone kills your loved ones, you can't be mad at them, only mad because they disobeyed God. Right on!

Look, this must be hard to swallow, but "murder" is socially defined. That is to say, killing someone during a war battle is not considered "murder" by our society as a whole. Killing a man convicted of the triple homocide of four year olds is not considered "murder." Torture in war time or in order to get information to secure another person's safety is often condoned.

It really has nothing to do with god and religion, though of course people will use that to justify it (i.e., saying that god is on their side of the war, claiming that executions are "doing god's will" and so on).

The current climate says that ending a pregnancy prior to a certain level of embryo development is legal and does not constitute murder. If you disagree, please feel free to write your legislators, work to change peoples' opinions, and teach people about ways to avoid unwanted pregnancy.

Unfortunately, it's true...no one cares if someone YOU love dies. Unless they cared about that person as well. In the grown up world, your feelings only matter to you and those who care about you. You can certainly be mad at anyone you want, but ultimately that does not serve any purpose but raising your own blood pressure and making YOU waste YOUR life with thoughts of vengeance and hatred.

So...have a blast. Be angry at whoever you want and go recruit others to be angry with you.

But leave us alone.

Without God, who can define what is bad? Killing a baby means taking a life before God intends to take him/her home to be with him. What makes it so very wrong is that stops the purpose that the individual was born to fulfill. That is why God considers gossip to be as murder. Destroying the reputation of another stops the purpose/influence of an individual.

Yes, of course, killing babies is deplorable. An abortion is not killing a baby, its terminating the growth of cells. If you are pro life, GREAT. Than don't have an abortion. You just do not have any right to make that decision for anyone else. That decision is between the woman and God, and no one else's business.

ignore those nutcases - the whole soddom and gomorra thing is so against the nature of the Creator it's ridiculous. Christians worship a god that was created to justify their own agendas

God does not condone murder. Remember the commandement, thou shalt not comitt murder. As part of our free will we are allowed to make choices that are not always in our best interest and therefore have consequences. Sometimes what may not appear to us as a positive outcome fits into God's greater plan and purpose for our lives. It's sometimes tough to swallow know but you have to have faith in God and all will be revealed to you in heaven.

Death came into the world through sin. It isn't something God does to us. When man sinned he became separated from God and not only became spiritually in need of a savior but also became imperfect physically. So man dies physically because of sin. Whether it be from disease or violence it is a result or our sin not something God does to us. But if we have a relationship with Jesus, when we do die it's the greatest irony to Satan. "You see, Satan, by your intoduction of sin and death into the world you have actually produced in my death the very thing you did not want. I have been reunited with God. Nanny nanny boo boo."
