it was about smoking and ive been told its in violation of Yahoo's Community Guidelines.....

I feel as if my basic human right to freedom of speech has been violated!!
I put this in the Law Enforcement category as I feel as if im being policed!!
What do you guys think??

I answered that question yesturday, i did'nt see a problem with it. When you look at some of the questions we get on here that don't get deleted and should.

Within the guidelines, anything can be deemed a violation. If someone doesn't like your question or your answer - or you for that matter - there's a case for violation.

"Thought Police" would be a better category.

Unfortunately, I cannot read your question because they have removed it and I can find no reference to it.

I can understand removal of questions if they are offensive - but I don't see that ASKING about smoking is offensive.

I smoke - I wish I didn't. It might be clearly harmful. But they don't delete questions about drugs or alcohol. I suppose they won't actually tell you why?

If you look hard enough, virtually EVERY question COULD offend SOMEONE!!!!

Don't worry about it just a plonker who put in an abuse complaint.
I had one last week because someone didn't like the way I worded my question. It was my fault I forgot to say
"What do you think?" and it made my question look like a statement.
Some petty twats have nothing better to do.
(It could be someone that hasn't liked a previous answer of yours to their question)

Their community guidlines suck.

I got a violation for telling someone how to spell GEESE they put GEECE, all because I thanked them for the 2 points

Yes i got that about one of my questions the other day, it just some wanker that wants to piss you off they report abuse again your question/awnser and then it gets removed for a number of reasons,bad thing is you'll never know who they are, juts ask it again !! x

its bad games i have had some answers removed and they were not in anyway offencive they should have a section for people how want to ask more risky questions.

i had a question asking for a good place to go to see live bands removed with no explanation. no idea why.
