to be a teacher in an Amercian University, you would need a Masters Degree in some sort of physical education or health etc. Even Community Colleges require masters now.

You can always teach for free in the park? Lots of Tai Chi classes go on in parks, tennis courts, pretty much any open area

Yes you go for it; I set up a seminar (this was not any martial arts related event) and lot s of people came, if only to steal my ideas and method of presentation (well that's what I do) so think about a seminar instead of a routine class (no disrespect intended). One off event needs lots of planning, CRB? Criminal Records (Check) Bureau to verify you not a criminal, and your qualifications get you in the door your experience get people to hand over the money. Good luck how ever it turns out. Scotland - where you at?

Obviously teaching kungfu in this country[U.K] you would need to contact the tai chi union of G.B to have your grades verified then you can get insurance and a C.R.B check then you can teach .

In America there is no certification needed. All you really need is insurance and a location to teach at.
