I know the short name is SSS. Some people may have to use colored lenses to help them read print in black and white.

Try this link below. It's a dicussion between dyslexia and SSS (Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome). One of the paragraphs towards the middle states something about certain colored overlays help with perception in SSS.

It is dyslexia. My brother has it and had to use the red overlays. With dyslexia there are all sorts of differences, like some get letters backwards, some upside down. Google it.
